It’s hard to think of yourself as a saint. But through faith in Jesus Christ, that’s exactly what you are. Forgiven, washed and renewed. You may not feel worthy. You’re still struggling in a lot of areas. But that’s the point of the gospel. Because of what Jesus has done for you, you’re a saint.

You’re a saint by grace, through faith. Because of God’s love for you, through the cross of Jesus. You’ve been made holy and set apart for a special purpose.

Why are you a saint? Not because of your work for God. But because of God’s great work for you. Because God called you to himself, because God sent his son Jesus to die on a cross for you. You’re a saint; a living picture of God’s grace, and you’re growing into this identity every day.

And now, you’ve been called to join the Saints. The family of Jesus, who each share that same story with you. Once lost, now found. Once distant from God, but now the delight of the Father.

The great love of the Father is an open invitation.
